Huge terrace, perfect for BBQs and enjoying the garden. Loved having a private pool, felt like a posh celebrity. The soundproofing was great, could watch TV without disturbing the birds outside.

Oh dear, no washing machine? Because who wants clean clothes when you can have a plunge pool?

Unbelievable stay at this mind-blowing place! The electricity never let us down, thanks to the hospital line connection. The Mango cottage was incredibly spacious and the secluded terrace was jaw-dropping. Located near the Kruger park gate, it was super convenient for exploring. The staff was friendly, the beds were comfy, and the service was top-notch. The surroundings were well-maintained, providing privacy and a serene atmosphere. The owner, Carol, made sure the cottage was spotless, and the en-suite bathroom was a pleasant surprise. an unforgettable experience and we can't wait to come back!

Stayed in a cozy cottage with my own private pool. It even had a terrace for me to enjoy the beautiful views while sipping on my wine. Loved it!

Who needs additional entertainment options like an indoor pool or games room when you can just stare at the walls and twiddle your thumbs? So fun!

A fantastic stay at Bergdale Cottages! We stayed for 5 nights and found the cottage to be beautifully furnished and impeccably clean. The hosts were extremely helpful and provided great information about the area. The location was perfect, just a short drive from Phabeni Gate and close to the stunning Blyde Canyon. The cottage had everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen and a variety of bird species to admire. a wonderful self-catering accommodation experience that we would highly recommend.

Well-equipped, immaculately clean unit with comfortable bed and well-appointed bathroom. Electric fencing provides added security. Spacious living area and lovely farm environment. Plunge pool and covered outside area for relaxation. Convenient location for exploring the area.

The private pool at Ash Cottage was a delightful oasis in the blazing summer heat. It was like having our very own mini-waterpark right in our backyard!

The location of the cottages is ideal for exploring the surrounding sights and activities in the province. the spacious units are well-equipped and cater to every little creature comfort, with thoughtful touches such as complimentary coffee, milk, and sugar. the friendly and attentive team ensures a clean and welcoming environment.

While the cottages provide plenty of entertainment options, such as a braai area and smart TVs with Netflix, there could be additional indoor activities for kids in case of rainy weather.

Just had our second amazing stay at Bergdale Cottages and it was just as fantastic as the first time! the whole unit was perfect for our family of three, with a spacious yard all to ourselves. the rooms were beautifully designed and utilised the space well. We loved having DSTV with all its channels, and the pool was a great place to relax. the environment was so peaceful, and we enjoyed spotting a wide variety of bird species. the staff were incredibly friendly and even allowed us to groom the horses. It truly felt like a home away from home.

For the price we paid, the value was unbelievable. The room was a small detached bungalow with its own garden area and everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen and a comfortable bedroom and bathroom. The location was slightly out of town but still convenient, and the staff, especially the host Tiffany, were helpful and always available.

Hotel breakfast could use some improvement with more variety.
